I’m Angel! I’m an art student attending Humber Polytechnic. My preferred medium for my art is digital media using clip studio paint. I occasionally do traditional art and painting. They usually contain character art, concept art, and fanart.I’ve illustrated the Vancouver HillCrest rink community skate poster for pride 2024 in February. My first exhibition was in March 2024 at the Creative Hub 1352 gallery in Mississauga.
About the Artist
Angel Dang (b. 2005, Toronto) is an emerging artist who studies in the Department of Visual and Digital Arts at Humber Polytechnic. She is a digital and traditional artist who focuses on character art and studies. Her work brings life to the expressions of memorable characters that move and define them. Her work also explores the personal bonds between fiction and reality. Her role as an artist has expanded into both her personal and professional practices throughout her art journey. She held a position as an illustrator for Vancouver’s skating rink where she illustrated the winter pride community event 2024 posters. She exhibited at Creative Hub 1352 in Mississauga, Canada. Her work, “You’ve Ruined My Life”, demonstrates the cycle of losing your childhood innocence and the emotions a child can go through when dealing with a horrible incident that leads them to this cycle of loss. She has recently exhibited at the Humber Galleries 2025, Decagram where her work displays the type of illustrations she does and the meaning behind each piece. Currently, Angel is a freelance artist, selling art prints, keychains, pins, and stickers.
